Past Events
Ricci, Desi & Billy
Desi's band played in the theatre twice to sold out crowds. This band began as a tribute to the band Desi had in the 60's ~ Dino, Desi & Billy.
Chautauqua
We present Chautauqua every September as a fundraiser for the Boulder City Museum & Historical Association. The scholars have presented many historical figures such as Mark Twain, FDR, Annie Oakley, Will Rogers, Lewis & Clark, Henry VIII and more.
An Evening With Linda Purl
Conducted by Ron Abel, this show was an evening of loved classics from years gone by. Linda Purl, Desi's first wife, is lovely and the audience was enchanted with her.
Michael Johnson
Michael made his first appearance with us in March 2010 and we hope he will be with us each year. His guitar skills, melodic voice and charm made this show one we will always remember.
Love Letters
Desi has presented this 2-person play twice at the theatre as a fundraiser for our non-profit ballet company, first with Linda Purl as his co-star and next with Mary Crosby.
A Tribute to Dean Martin
Our sold out audiences absolutely loved this show which was presented by Dean Martin's youngest son, Ricci Martin. Ricci tours America with his show and his appearance schedule is on his website.
Torme Sings Torme
Desi's lifelong friend, Steve March Torme, presented a loving tribute to his father, the late Mel Torme.
Dam Short Film Festival
Each year the Film Festival takes over the Theatre for 4 days, showing over 100 short films from around the world. For more information on next year's festival, please visit their website.
An Evening With Lucille Ball
Directed by Lucie Arnaz (Desi's sister) this one-woman show is perfectly presented by Suzanne LaRusch in her impersonation of Lucille Ball. Now being presented across America, this show is a must see! For booking information and appearances, please visit her website.
Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and The Nutcracker
Because of our work with children, we have presented more ballet productions and dance recitals than any other type of show. We love to give our students a professional and safe environment where they can experience the magical world of music and dance. Our students consider the Boulder Theatre their theatre. After all, many of them grew up here!
